How To Print Your Templates

So, you’ve finished editing your Canva template. Now what?!

When you go to ‘share’ your file on Canva, you will find a number of different options for downloading. Your selection will depend on how you plan on using your template, so here are the most common download settings for the different purposes.

Digital Version: For sending electronically
Print Shop: FOR SENDING to a professional printer
Print at Home: For DIY printing

PAPER TYPES

If you are printing your files at home, we recommend 300GSM thickness cardstock in a silk (smooth) or uncoated (smooth) finish.

If you are using a professional printer, we would recommend a 270-350GSM thickness. The finishes available will depend on your printer, but some of our favorites are:

  • Silk (smooth)
  • Uncoated (smooth)
  • Felt (textured)
  • Linen (textured)
  • Cotton (letterpress)
